A scarce original Second World War period 'Girls Life Brigade National Service pin badge'; gilt and enamel bar, bearing circlet with brigades' motto 'TO SAVE LIFE' in white enamel and central cross 'GLB' on blue ground, surmounted by the 'Coronet of Nobility'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or enamel loss, gilt finish remains bright.Size approx 38 x 16mm.
