Description
Genuine M40 steel helmet by EF. A very nice fake SS decal (Pocher-style) has been put on the helmet (years ago!) and shows ageing and patina. The decal is on the left side, for foreign volunteers. Still it remains a nice helmet that nearly looks as good as the real thing. Original installed liner, dated 1944, and split pins are not messed with. Maker/size marked EF66 , lot number 4480. The decal is an CA Pocher pattern (fake) shield, that is suitable on EF helmets, so it's a well made and thought over copy. Good looking M42 'SS' helmet, for those who don't like spending ten times the money. Fooled me many years ago and had it in storage for a long time. Comes with a genuine chin strap!
