Description
Beautiful light worn M42 pattern army steel helmet. Single decal example with the correct pattern eagle by Huber Jordan u. Koerner (aka Thin winged decal) for this maker (EF). The decal rates well over 85% and still shows sharp detail. The helmet is complete with an original installed liner. The leather feels supple and strong. The split pins are straight and unmessed with. Maker marked by EF size 62, lot number 2011 (I deem, but it's typical for EF helmets to have sloppy markings) The helmet is complete with a very attractive, undoubtful original full basket chickenwire attached. This was attached to helmets to block direct sunlight and to put leaves in between. A very nice and honest army helmet with seldom seen full basket chicken wire attached!
