Super ''Beda Fomm'' Battle Souvenir Italian 47/32 Tank Shell Case. 1941.

This is a very interesting souvenir from the battle of Beda Fomm that took place between the 5th and 7th of February in North Africa. From the inscription i would say it belonged to a member of the 2 RTR of the Hussars but more research might well be possible. The full inscription reads....ITALIAN TANK SHELL CASE TAKEN AT BEDA FOMM. 5-7 FEB.1941. 27 BRITISH CRUISERS V 107 ITALIAN MEDIUM. LOSSES..5 BRITISH, 107 ITALIAN. The shell case does correspond to rounds used in certain Italian tanks used in North Africa, its in very nice condition with full details to the bottom.
