Maxim Machine Gun gilt and enamel regimental pin brooch

A rare original First World War period 'Maxim Machine Gun gilt and enamel pin badge', designed on the style of the cap badge, crossed vickers guns surmounted by a red enamel crown with 'Maxim Machine Gun' blue enamel scroll below. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no enamel loss, minor defect to crown, gilt finish remains bright.Height approx 29mm
