Ex-Services India gilt and enamel numbered membership badge

A good original pre 1953 period British Made 'Ex-Services India lapel badge'; large gilt six pointed star the top displaced by a George VI crown the centre depicting an embossed Tiger's head emerging from an orange enamel title circlet; the reverse impressed with low issue number '588'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, no defects to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright, an excellent example.Height approx 37mm.
