Description
The armband is in good condition and was worn on a Landwacht Nederland uniform.On the 12th of March 1943 the 'Landwacht Nederland' was established and this organization existed mainly out of NSB members and other collaborators in the Netherlands.They had the task to control civilians at roadblocks and help the police forces and German troops.On October 16, 1943, an order was issued that 'Landwacht Nederland' would immediately carry the name 'Landstorm Nederland' as an SS-Grenadier-Regiment.A rare armband cuff title for the collaboration and World War II collection!Article number: 15558
