Description

German WWII Naval Proofed Large Battle Flag-This very large two sided Kriegsmarine battle flag measuring 94 ½' long and 55 ¼' wide (marked 150cm x 250cm). This translates to 8 feet (2.4384M) by 4 feet (1.21M) in size. This example is produced in red bunting. This is maker marked and stamped in black ink 'Fahnen-Kreisel'. It is also stamped in black ink on the other side of the hoist end, 'Reichskriegsfl. 150 x 250', and the navy proof stamp. It does have its rope lanyard for hoisting, with the other end having the rope loop. There are a few holes and tears at the hoist end, you can see this damage in the photos. It is fairly clean with just a few small, isolated stains, but the colors remain very vibrant colors, and the flag is in very good condition. This is a handsome battle flag.
