German WWII DAF Factory Standarte- This flag measures approximately 49 inches (124.46cm) tall x 52 inches (132.08cm) long. It is a two-sided example made of a red bunting material. There is silver bullion fringe on three sides. The attachment rings are missing with some remnants off ring loops remaining. There is a patch in the upper corner which indicates this is from Nassereith, Austria. This is a brown felt patch with blue tress and would represent one of the factory units. The red bunting field has a number of very small holes throughout. It has a huge cogwheel made of white material with a black interior and separately applied black cloth swastika. A few smaller stains can be seen in white areas of center piece. The colors are vibrant and this is a very strong candidate rating in good condition. Desirable!
