German WWII Kriegsmarine Battle Flag Presented to Vice Admiral Robert Lee Ghormley- This massive flag was presented to Vice Admiral Ghormley.Right after the war he was in charge of dismantling the Kriegsmarine.There is tons information online about him. The flag is in excellent overall condition.It measures 116' (294.64cm) x 196' (497.84cm). There are a few small stains and a couple small holes that were repaired.The colors remain vibrant on this two-sided flag. The hoist end is well reinforced with a lanyard running through it forming a loop on one corner.Well-marked with navy proof eagle. LOH.
