This Dutch large format photograph is in good condition, dates from July 1945 and shows Prince Bernhard and the commander of the first Canadian army in the Netherlands, General Crerar at his headquarters in Apeldoorn.Photo dimensions: 24 x 18 cm.Caption on reverse:H.R.H. Prince Bernhard received on July 20 last General Crerar, commander of the first Canadian army in the Netherlands, at his headquarters in Apeldoorn and granted him on behalf of H.M. the Queen the highest Dutch decoration, viz.
