1914/15 Star trio, named to:19309 PTE.B.TURVEY, A.S.C.Medals very fine or better.Benjamin Watson Turvey was born in Foulden, near Swaffham in 1873.He enlisted in the Norfolk Regiment on 29th September, 1891.During the Boer War he was seriously wounded in the face at Karee siding.on 29th March 1900. He was discharged on 31st August 1900.He enlisted in the Army Service Corps on 11th October 1915, arriving in France on 30/10/1915.He later served as no 303091 Labour Corps.
