German KM M40 SD Coastal Artillery Camo Combat Helmet

In a very good condition a stunning German Kriegsmarine M40 Single Decal Coastal Artillery Combat Helmet.The helmet comes in size 64 and is nicely maker marked and made by ET, indicating production by Eisenhüttenwerk Thale / Herz.The helmet comes with a size 57 liner original applied to the helmet and is never taken out. complete with the original leather attachment strap and chinstrap that is never changed.The helmet is nicely named on the inside rim by a soldier on the name of 'Gesslein'.The helmetshell has on the outside a wartime original camouflage paint with underneath the decal of the kriegsmarine.The golden eagle is on one point visible trough the camo paint. (see picture with markings)The camouflage paint is a stunning handapplied khaki colour paint with over it a brown and green colour camo pattern.A very stunning and unique camouflage helmet that we never had seen before.A great example for every kriegsmarine or helmet collection!
