US Gulf War Era Ontario Knife Company Black Wind Katana

Original era manufacture. Recently purchased from the collection of a US Army Gulf War Veteran, is this Ontario Knife Company, Black Wind Katana.It features a 20 inch blade with a powder coated finish, one piece construction with a black nylon cord wrapped grip. Heavy black composition molded scabbard, with a black nylon belt loop.Our veteran friend referred to this weapon as an 'Ali Baba' sword, and commented that the swords were more impressive to their Iraqi friends than the most up-to-date firearms shown them by the GI's. Appears basically unused, just handling wear only, light surface scuffing to the scabbard. Last one, of the three we purchased.
