1900 Relief of Ladysmith Silk Rosette and Ribbon.

I was very happy to purchase this Souvenir last week from a ''walk in'' who's Grandfather served during the Boer War, please check item 62479 for another item purchased from this gent recently that belonged to his father. The silk rosette is in fine condition with one small ribbon missing, some remains with printed text only. The two 22 inch silk ribbons have full clear text with the white silk example broken near the bottom half and hanging on by the outer thread, not bad for an item thats 125 years old! I have no idea if this was purely a souvenir or a identification item used by people collecting funds. Will make a very nice display piece with any Boer War collection.
