Early Cold War Flag of the Soviet Union or 'Red Banner' (Красное Знамя). Multi-piece construction red cotton flag with two communist symbols displayed in the canton: a gold hammer and sickle topped off by a red five-point star. This example probably dates around the mid 50s. Nice medium 130 x 90 cms sized flag. The flag is in used condition, showing some discoloration and small damages. Nice and decorative original flag in good used condition!
