German eagle order 'Grand Cross' breast star in gold by L/58 Souval

Beautfiful Großkreuz des Deutschen Adlerordens in Gold (Grand Cross of the German Eagle Order in Gold) maker marked by L/58 Rudolf Souval. These crosses were producedafter 1945 by the Souval company. It was intended for German veterans to re-buy a cross in case theirs was lost or stolen. These crosses were still worn at veteran meetings, hence the conclusion, that even if it comes from the veteran itself, he might have bought it himself after the war as a second piece to wear.
