Japanese WWII, Type 99 Rifle, Rubberized Canvas Rifle Sling

Original era manufacture.  Red-brown rubberized canvas sling, with a steel adjusting buckle. The belt has stiffened from age, with the center portion of the strap body having delaminated over time.The individual who removed the sling from the rifle, un-screwed the sling swivel from the rifle stock. On the opposite end, the steel securing button is in place. Overall measurement is 27 inches to include the sling swivel.
