The Suffolk Regiment infantry cap badge 1901 to 1952

A good original 1901 to 1952 early issue 'Suffolk Regiment cap badge'; die-stamped white metal example, bearing Crowned circlet with motto 'MONTIS INSIGNIA CALPE' (By the sign of the Rock), Castle and Key of Gibraltar to voided centre resting within oak wreath and mounted with a brass title scroll, with sweat holes to reverse. Very good condition, complete with original brass slider fitting.
