YESSSSS!!!!!!!! 1940 Dated!!!!!! Never been able to offer this year before and I collect Spanners since 15 years. The rarest of all was a 1939 one, I have seen maybe 3 or 4, but 1940 never had one to offer, (I have only one in my collection). Normal to find are from 1935 to 1938. This item was used for help the masks to keep opened when out of the gas mask can. Nice piece of German engineering.
