Royal Artillery Association of Artificers lapel badge

A scarce original circa 1940's vintage period 'Association of Artificers lapel badge' in the form of a shield, bearing red and blue enamel colours of the Royal Artillery, the centre displaying crossed hammer and pincers and heavy artillery gun proficiency trade badge; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent St Birmingham'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, no enamel loss.Height approx 26mm.
