US .30.06 Home Guard Ammunition.

A stripper clip of 5 x .30.06 rounds for use in the US supplied P.17 rifles used by the Home Guard. These rounds are all 1930/31 dated and made by the Frankford Arsenal in Philadelphia as denoted by the ' FA ' headstamp. This batch of ammunition was supplied along with the weapons in the Lend Lease agreement that provided much of the Home Guard's armament.
