WH (Heer) 'Panzer' Officer's Visor Cap

WH (Heer) 'Panzer' Officer's Visor Cap (Schirmmütze). Visor caps were a standard item for all armed forces personnel during the Third Reich period. Although enlisted personnel were issued their caps from government supplies they were also permitted to purchase privately tailored caps. This is a nice privately purchased Officer's example, the celluloid manufacturer's sweat-diamond ('Raute') is missing. The Visor cap is piped in the pink 'Truppenfarbe' (branch-colour) for Panzer personnel. The simulated leather sweatband is in used and slightly damaged condition, see photos. A period newspaper is folded under the sweatband to tighten the fit. The cap is complete with its original tombak cap eagle and aluminum cocarde. The cap is having an officer's type chinstrap. The cap is showing some normal traces of usage and/or storage and some minor (moth)damages, see photos. The cap is having a great shape. Great and scarce original Panzer Officer's Visor Cap in good used condition!
