German Civilian Shirt Sanfor (49' Chest)

Sold
$45.00

Description

Period vintage men's German civilian dress shirt. The pattern of the shirt is fairly close to the army pattern one, but it will require cuff links to close the cuffs. It would make a very good shirt for reenacting or a mannequin as civilian shirts were very common. Sanfor label. It is a light pink color - I am not sure if it has always been a light pink or if it was white that was washed with red. There is some light staining around the collar, under the arms and on the back. The sleeves has been shortened in the center (the stitching could be taken back out, but there likely will be small stitch holes where the thread was). A few very light scattered stains. It has not been laundered. Some pulls in the material.Chest (armpit to armpit)- 49'Length- 32 1/2' in the front, 34' in the backNeck- 16'
