Schutzpolizei Shako (Tschako) by Erel 1937

Excellent and well preserved German Police Shako (Or Tschako in German) in good condition! Green velvet on the outside is in good preserved condition. Shows a few small moth holes, but other than that void of major damages. Black leahter remains perfect and does not show cracks or damages. The black leather indicates this is a Shako for Schutzpolizei (and not Gendarmerie with brown leather). Complete with often missing removable top cocarde. The inside is maker marked by Erel (Robert Lubstein), Berlin. Size marked 55. The leather of the liner is perfect and leather remains in soft and strong. Dated 1937. Complete with draw string present. A good looking light worn Police Shako!
