Screen printed multi-coloured handkerchief (31cms x 29cms) showing the emblem of the exhibition with the lion & anchor city arms of Düsseldorf, On the black border appear the arms of 24 other German cities. Excellent condition with no damage and all colours bright and clean.The Reichsausstellung Schaffendes Volk (The National Exhibition of a Productive People) in 1937 was held in the North Park area of Düsseldorf, Germany, along the Rhine shoreline. It was opened on 8th May, 1937 by Hermann Göring and lasted around six months.Collectors may well be familiar with the 'tinnie' commemorative badge associated with this exhibition.
