A nice lightweight aluminiumPatronenkasten 34ammo can for the MG34/42, factory finished in the original grey/brown spray camouflage pattern, typical of the early-war period.It is an example which has been paint marked to one end with the letter 'E', denoting an E-kasten orErganzungkasten(spare parts box) for the MG34/42.It is also clearly marked with the 'FTR' maker's logo, dated 1939 andWaffenamtstamped to the lid, as shown.
