RARE 6x30 Dienstglas 'Hensoldt' factory refub binoculars

A very rare and desirable early production example of the 6x30Dienstglasfield binoculars, produced byHensoldt Wetzlar.They are a pair which have clearly been factory refurbished by Hensoldt and undergone an update to the 'bmj' secret maker code (& '+' lubrication marking) in the process.Interestingly, the previous early maker's logo can still be seen on the left-hand prism plate and the serial number etc on the right-hand side, when under the right lighting, as shown.They have also received the typical mid-war textured paint coating, rather than the leatherette finish to the barrels that they would have once had when originally produced.Optically functional but would benefit from cleaning if so desired.Strichplattereticule remaining inside.A really superb example of a 6x30 Dienstglas binocular, and one that would surely be unique within even the most advanced optical equipment collections!
