Spanish WWII, Model Z Steel Helmet, German M1935 Shell

Original era manufacture. A German manufactured M1935 pattern steel helmet, with separately applied pressed steel ventilators. Three German pattern rivet holes, and four additional holes for a total of seven rivets. Thick dark olive brown exterior paint with a soldered loop on the front for a Spanish eagle. The interior of the helmet has what appears to be a Luftwaffe blue factory paint finish. The olive-brown paint is so thick on the inside of the neck skirt that no markings are visible.Simple Spanish style leather lining and an intact leather chinstrap. The helmet exhibits considerable age and wear, but is quite sound for display.
