WW1 Northumberland Fusiliers (NF) Officer's Cap Badge - Modified with slider

An officer's issue, butt probably the property of a senior NCO, possibly an RSM, given how polished away the detail is. Converted to a slider by the original owner and missing its loops, which have been neatly removed. Name of owner: 'Jim' scratched on to the slider. Of two part riveted construction. Whilst polished and therefore sold as seen, this has some charm to it.Comm JoPa
