WW1 New Zealand - 1st Mounted Rifles (Canterbury Yeomanry Cavalry (CYC)) Brass Cap Badge (solid top to the Y)

A die struck gilding metal example with the solid top to the Y (another pattern has a gap across the top of the Y). With two original loops and maker's tablet JR Gaunt / London. Very slight spotting to front otherwise in great condition. The collar badges were of a different pattern to the cap badge.Oldham No 5/4 refers.Comm JoPa
