A British WW2 M1942 MkII despatch riders helmet. Green steel shell with web liner and leather covered padding. Chinstrap. The leather ear and neck protector is damaged with part torn off. Maker marked by BMB (Briggs Motor Bodies) and dated 1945. Size 7.
