British, Post WWII, 12-13th Para Battalion Drum, 10 Battle Honors

Original era manufacture. A brass bodied military drum with wooden hoops with rope tensioning and buff leather tugs.The brass body has a very attractive decoration in the form of British Airborne wings and 10 battle honor ribbons, beginning with Bruneval, and ending with Athens, also honored are Normandy Landings and Arnhem 1944.The painted finish on the wooden hoops shows wear, seeing much service use in its time.
