K98 Combat Bayonet & Frog

K98 Combat Bayonet with Frog (Seitengewehr 98K mit Seitengewehrtasche). The K98 bayonet was a standard issue item and was accompanied by a bayonet frog to be worn on the reverse left side of the load carrying waist belt. The K98 bayonet remained the standard issue bayonet through-out the war with minor manufacturing variations. The bayonet is nicely maker marked company of 'E.u.F. Hörster' from Solingen and dated 1940. The bayonet is marked with the serial-number '3019'. The blade is in very good condition, the bayonet is having bakelite grips. The scabberd is not visible maker marked. The bayonet comes with its original blackened leather frog as found, the frog is nicely RF.Nr. marked. Nice original bayonet in good condition!
