A scarce original circa 1930's 'Daily Express Rupert League gilt and enamel membership pin badge', a club formed for children by the 'Daily Express Newspaper' and depicting the head of Rupert Bear above a red title shield, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel.Height approx 26mm.
