Hindenburg Cross for Participants 1914-18 (Ehrenkreuz für Kriegsteilnehmer). The Cross was instituted in three forms on 13 july 1934 as a service medal for soldiers who participated in world war one. It was also the first decoration created by the Third Reich. The Hindenburg Cross is complete with its original ribbon as found. The magnetic cross is maker marked with 'CW'. Nice example in good condition!
