WWII U.S. M37 Officer-Converted Enlisted Man's Wool Service Shirt

This is an original WWII U.S. M37 wool service shirt. Interestingly, this began its life as an enlisted man's version, without epaulettes, until material was sourced from its tail to create epaulettes, telling the story of its original owner's promotion to Second Lieutenant. Unfortunately, its size could not be located and the manufacturer's tag has faded beyond legibility. It shows signs of use, but is in good condition.
