Embroidered badge for members of the Royal Navy Y Scheme, a scheme which allowed young men to pre select service in the Navy before their call up at 18. Requirements of the scheme required members to enrol in approved forms of training which included service in the Home Guard. When worn in HG uniform it was to be worn on the left arm. In good, clean condition with clear evidence of having been worn. Scarce.
