A scarce original circa 1950's period 'Robertson's Golly Footballer promotional badge' playing a small brown football, light blue coat and white waistcoat displaying the advertising slogan 'Golden Shred' to his chest, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Makers Charles Davis Warstone Lane B'Ham.1'. Good condition, complete with old replacement pin fittings, enamel with dark marks to legs and light scratch mark, gilt finish remains bright.Height approx 34mm.
