Aluminum Bread Tin (with a few dents)

German aluminum bread/sandwich tin. This one has a nice older look to it. Decent, useable condition with some dents, dirt, scratches and overall general signs of wear/use. A good bread bag stuffer to keep your sandwich safe. These were an important part of everyday life for Germans, so it is no wonder they found their way to the front lines as well. Bread tins are frequently found by battlefield diggers across Europe and Russia. They were even being produced as early as WWI.They are pictured on the cover of the 1939 Der Sportler catalog.
