A scarce original 'National League of Airmen 1935 badge' in the form of a silver plated aeroplane inlaid with dark blue enamel, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Roden London'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, an excellent example.Size approx 28 x 20mm.The National League of Airmen was created in 1935 by Lord Rothermere, Britain's first Secretary of State for Air.
