Association of Wrens Womens Royal Naval Service badge

A good original circa 1940's 'WRENS association pin badge', rope edged bronzed oval title surround 'Jenny Wren' anchor and 'Naval Crown' to voided centre, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London'. Very good condition, complete with orignal pin fittings.Height approx 30mm.The Association of Wrens was formed in 1920 by a group of ex-wrens to maintain the friendships formed in the 'Women's Royal Naval Service' and to keep the spirit of the Service alive.
