An elegant high quality 'Polo' form kepi ,as was of high fashion at the wars start . To the front is the number 7 in direct embroidered silver bullion wire,this unit being from Rouen . To the upper third of the kepi three bands of bullion braid indicate captain rank. Nicely age toned and service worn with some minor moth to the lower rear edge .A wonderful untouched highly displayable piece .
