WW1 French M1893/15 Pack - 1915 Dated

An above average WW1 example of the M1893 Field Pack of the classic and iconic French 'Poilu'.This one is one of the first of the type that came about from 1914 being of plain heavy linen canvas . There is a very clear stamp of November 1915 to underside of the front flap .Also can be seen soldiers names & a slightly less clear corps /regional oval stamp .The original box wood frame is still intact and ridged . All the fixed straps and shoulder straps are present and supple . A great basis for a wonderful display piece project to fit out with the many items carried .
