WW2 German Luftwaffe Gas Mask & Canister With Original Long & Short Straps , Spring & Cleaning Cloth

A Luftwaffe issue gas mask set with blue overpainted canister & 1938 dated GM30 green rubberised fabric gas mask with FE37 filter.Typical of Luftwaffe ground troops this canister was factory painted in green then overpainted blue for Luftwaffe issue. Its spare lens compartment has a pack of spare 1939 dated lenses & a faint makerlogo to the lid. Gas mask facepiece is 1937 dated to inside edge with '38 date to snout. Filter is of the Fe37 model with date 'Januar 1942' to side ( Expiry) & eagle & swastika ink stamp to top. Both long & short straps of the canister are 100% wartime original the short strap being an early issue with green painted brass hook. Gas mask number '115' to neck of tin. Ink markings can be seen to this. Finally , to interior of the tin are the original issue cleaning cloth & spring which I have left as found still in it.Overall good untouched Luftwaffe set .
