British Pre-WWI Era Officers Dress Helmet, Northhamptonshire Regiment, Named

Original era manufacture. A blue wool cloth covered helmet with a cork body, gilded brass fittings throughout, including the attractive helmet plate surmounted by a King's pattern crown. Named on the interior to Wauhope, and size marked 6 3/4. No moth issues to report, overall a very sound and attractive helmet with the name providing a basis for further research. The center castle device on the helmet plate is a little loose, easily moved with your fingers.
