Japanese WWII, Type 30 Bayonet, Jinsen Arsenal

Original period manufacture. A clean example of this Korean made bayonet for the Imperial Japanese Army. Blue finished blade with fullers, hooked guard, contoured wood grips, and a flat, bird-head pommel.Theblue finished blade is very clean, with just a touch of scattered clouding to the surface finish, no pitting, no corrosion issues. Mix of blue finish, steel patina and very light surface corrosion, to the hooked guard and pommel, original finish to the wooden grip plates with minimal marring.The blue steel scabbard is clean, with lots of blue, a bit of surface corrosion, and a few shallow dents, more felt than seen.
