'Fire over London' Booklet - London Fire Fighters 1940 - 41

A wartime printed 32-page booklet detailing the heroic actions made by the London Fire Service during 1940 - 41.Published for the London County Council in 1941 by Hutchinson & Co Ltd with numerous images of the AFS (Auxiliary Fire Service, later the NFS) tackling huge fires and their aftermath.The 9 1/4 x 6 3/4 inch booklet is in good condition for its age with only minor corner creases and the odd blemish, a 5mm long neat slice to front cover but hardly noticeable, usual age related discolouration present.A great cover image with falling Luftwaffe incendiary devices, would look good framed and wall mounted.
