British 1943 Dated Brass Fire Fighting Hose Nozzle

A solid brass 1943 dated fire hose nozzle.The 4 inch (100mm) long nozzle bears a faint GR cypher (George VI) along with the partial makers name ''W & Co Ltd'', also stamped with the aperture size 5/16 (exit hole) and a crudely applied depot / brigade mark ''SB'', the threaded hose pipe connecting end is a standard fitting of approx. 1 7/8thsType of nozzle used by the military, civil defence / NFS.Good clean condition, heavy little item.
