WW1 1914-15 Star & Victory MedalTo- 2.LIEUT.J.G.G.JANASZ.DORSET.R (star)& 2-LIEUT.J.G.G.JANASZ (Victory medal)James George Gee Janasz from Bournemouth was educated at Sherborne college & Corpus Christi college, Oxford. He was commissioned into the 3rd Dorset Regiment & attached to the 2nd battalion of the Wiltshire Regiment. He was killed in action in France & Flanders 15-6-1915 & having no known grave he is commemorated on the Le Touret memorial. He is recorded by the CWGC as the late son of Joseph Adolf & Mary Spencer Janasz of Zaremba, Percy Road, Boscombe, Bournemouth.GVF or better & complete with MIC details, CWGC details & ODGW details.
